They look great. Is rhe surface finish determined by surface of steel pre application?

I would assume any nicks and possible deep scratches may be difficult to hide. I thought I recall the parts get media blasted before being cerakoted. My watch in the picture used to be polished, no scratches, no nicks or dents and mint condition. Turned out great. I like that the finish is not smooth as glass. To me it looks a bit industrial or rugged.

That does look nice. I think it’s a combination of the two. A media blast of differing grits will give a different finish and you can have a courser application for texture as well.

the cerakote finish on my seiko is smooth .. your's looks more bead blasted?

I believe mine possible was bead blasted. I suppose it could be the cerakote material itself, I don’t know. But I really like the textured finish a lot.

that textured finish looks very cool ... the color looks very pencil-lead like, maybe because the texture?

I got a quote for cerakote. 100 dollars for a watch head. But they refused to do bracelet as it seems that the cerakote may rub off...
