Re: Cerakote?
I would assume any nicks and possible deep scratches may be difficult to hide. I thought I recall the parts get media blasted before being cerakoted. My watch in the picture used to be polished, no scratches, no nicks or dents and mint condition. Turned out great. I like that the finish is not smooth as glass. To me it looks a bit industrial or rugged.Mellons wrote:They look great. Is rhe surface finish determined by surface of steel pre application?
Sent from my toilet using Kakatalk. Flushed with only a single wipe.
Sent from the White House on the tax payers dime.

Re: Cerakote?
That does look nice. I think it’s a combination of the two. A media blast of differing grits will give a different finish and you can have a courser application for texture as well.guspech750 wrote:I would assume any nicks and possible deep scratches may be difficult to hide. Re: Cerakote?
I believe mine possible was bead blasted. I suppose it could be the cerakote material itself, I don’t know. But I really like the textured finish a lot.TimemiT wrote:the cerakote finish on my seiko is smooth .. your's looks more bead blasted?
