@Mike08 I'll try my very best! :mrgreen: And thanks again for the case, stem and other parts and your help in the countless PMs! :clap: Pic is from yeasterday. old dial is sanded down, hands are aged, plexi and o-rings are back in the case. i hope everything fits together now :mrgreen:

@Belkin12 dial is really perfect. i want to thank you too for the dial and the tips you gave me.

great spirit here :thumbup:

I'll be back with pics of the finished watch ASAP.

what can go wrong goes wrong.... put together, and when setting time the hands mismatched... hour wheel is broken

i ordered a new one from italy, this takes 2 or 3 weeks... dammit...

but i'll put it together for a foto session :lol:

I always ate my veggies- I am strong and big :lol:

but the best thing is: i finished the watch and i love it :cool:

for the moment with the unitas-ring, screws and a small piece of copper. I'll visit my old company this week to use the lathe. I will make a new, bettter fitting ring using the pocket watch case as you suggested.
