Angelus 215 movement, I think it’s the cheapest in-house chronograph movement from Angelus.
Ooooo, I see a Mare Nostrum in your future!

Bravo! It is one of my favorite movements! did you install the pusher buttons yourself too?
No, the case is a 42mm Chinese quartz case comes with 2 buttons, and the stem height just right for this movement. But the buttons location is slightly off, so I had to modify the pin and make a larger cap to get the pin touching the pushers.

It’s a hardened stainless steel case, I have only basic hand tools so it’s very difficult to work on.
Its very brave and not cheap project. I like how you connected two such styles in a very brave way )) Angelus 215
. what is your next step? Rolex 618 or 633?

In my humble opinion, the soldered bars should have a tighter bend radius and be closer to the watch body. This would do two things for you , (1) Have a smaller more compact look on your wrist. Closer to the watch body with the bar pins less leverage thus stronger with added strength. When you made the bars, you should have laid them over each other to verify they were the same shape, (a mirror image of each other) .One looks like its 90 degrees on the bend , the other looks like 130 at the bend. The rest of the watch I like what you have done.

I’m now waiting for parts to make a new strap. The lug/ shoulder bar is a brass wire welded onto the case and can be bent into shape. It looks that way now because it’s a 26mm lug size on a 20mm strap. The new strap in the right size should look a lot better.

The original plan was Mare Nostrum, but I figured it out a 52mm case is way too big for me. Also the cost of case would be too much for me as well.

I always want to try the Chinese 3646 chronograph case, personally I think it’s the best looking Pam shape and well suited for non-Pam dial. Also recently it has a 42mm quartz 3646 case, which is the perfect size on my wrist.

Another Chronograph with 42mm Chinese case, this one is the early version Valjoux 22 from 1915.
