I always wanted to have a B-Uhr that is not as big as my LACO Hommage ….

… and more accurate than my flieger with sub seconds.

So I changed my spares parts and I found a watch case (not that nice), a Molnija “Ural” wristwatch with 3608 Movement, a type B dial and some hands…

… so let’s get started…

I know the movement has to be cleaned and regulated but first things first. Also if I am going to like the result then I am planning a little a vintage mod on dial and hands. You know „a little mod, why not“. Image

Brother, be awarw that all 3608 movements have the shattering effect on the seconds hand. This means that you will see at some positions the hand to jumb 2-3 seconds. But that's all right.

Just tighten the spring under the seconds hand pinion and all is good. Be careful when you set the seconds hand, it can compromise the tension on the spring.
