In this page there are instructions to convert a SF240 alarm in a non alarm one:

Howwever I have a doubt: in an alarm removed movement, is it necesary to keep this intermediate wheel?

Yes, you need to grind this down, or find a wheel meant for a non alarm. It is needed if you want to set the time.
I find the tutorial somewhat odd. The movement should be completely disassembled before doing anything like this. Sorry Ross.
No filing, the brass pin should be pushed out by means of a staking set, so should the notch on the hour wheel.

You are right Yoda.
Thank you very much!
I appreciate as well the tip for removing the brass pin and hour wheel notch.
After watching the attached picture I can see that the wheel is double. The upper part is not necessary, and the lower one is used to set the hour.

Yes, that's correct. Just don't try to cut this with a snipping tool, the wheel is hardened and will "explode". You will also need to remove the steel pin to the right, just pull it out.
I would strongly advice that nothing is done before the balance has been removed, it is so easy to put your fingers in the wrong place when working on a movement.
The geared portion of the hour wheel looks a bit more beefy than usual, it is above the pillar/dial plate surface, so is the minute wheel.

Thank you again Yoda!.
Your advices are really useful!
Accordingly, I will act on the movement pieces only after unmount the movement. And I will not use the dremel disk to split the gear.

The pinion on the minute wheel must be taken down to the same height as the pin it is sitting on.
There are some tricky steps on the way, ask before you mess up a part. Patience is the word if you are not certain of what to do. I am here to help as much as I can and I will keep an eye on this as often as I can.
If it is too much, back off and let us help you!

Yet another conversion.
I often wonder, how many SF240s were made?
