For Sjef, this has happened

Post by Yoda »

Two months and 79 watches later, 10 movements, lots of tools, some accessories, boxes and what not.

Not much left after several rounds of tape, almost 75 meters of bubble wrap and countless visits at the post office.

I am still having "fun", despite the sad reason why I am doing this. My fear is that I will feel empty when this is all over, I know I will.

I have repaired some of these, finished others and worn them all for a while, just to feel the spirit and enjoy the work and energy Sjef put into this.

Still some items left, a few watches, parts and accessories ...

Thank you all for what you have bought so far, it wouldn't have worked out so easily without your help and support!

Congrats, Michael. What you're doing is not easy, but you know the value of holding those things in your hand that Sjef held many times. You're sharing that energy with others that share his love, maybe even who knew him. Cheers to you, my friend!

I am fairly new here and didn't get to know Sjef. But he must have been an outstanding person to the forum. So are you Mr. Yoda keeping his heritage and doing so well to the family.
