This timepiece will be offered for sale on Nov. 9, 2023 … see above.
I think this is going to be too pricey. At least for my budget!

Hmm.., looks like Panerai try to rebuild interest in collector market , will see that maybe next uniq project will be released. Or it is only one time event .
But nice to see roots in modern time.

I wonder where Panerai got all these SF240s from? ETA 6497 or in-house movement wouldn't be a big deal, but SF240?
Does this mean Angelus brought out the old plans from their archives, produced ~1000 new SF240s (it's bound to be a limited edition) and made spare parts for the next 5-10 years?
Also (Angelus and Panerai) employees were trained on the SF240 production line and for service and repair?
Or did Panerai find NOS SF240 movements in a new found basement in Florence?

It appears that they fitted the two extra jewels again.

Word has it that @Madantique was on vacation and met a beautiful woman. They really hit it off and had drinks and had a great night together. But the next morning he woke up in a bathtub full of ice and a naked wrist with note that had a link to this instagram post
Seriously tho, this one looks amazing! Some gorgeous attention to detail- the extra jewels as @Yoda noted, and I especially dig the single dome on the back, I love that crystal ball look!

Undoubtedly stunning (unique) piece.
But..
1) no logo on the crown
2) small second on a Radiomir case? Mh, na
3) 50m WR (c'mon in 1940 it was like 100m!)
Anyway, a huge step in the right direction after all the fly-back shit release in the last painful years.
