Looking for suggestions on small brands producing a classic-looking field watch under $1,000 US - preferably well under. One catch though - I need something larger, minimum 43mm, preferably 44-45, and that seems like a tough ask. So many cool cases out there but everything is 38-40mm. Just too small for me. For now the Luminox Atacama is the closest I have found that ticks all the boxes:
https://www.nywatchstore.com/luminox-at ... -1907.html
The Unimatic U2 is the sublime embodiment of my perfect watch, but it's less than 38mm. San Martin makes a very similar case for a lot less - but it's also 38mm.
Looking for help discovering new brands out there that might make something with the vibe I'm after in a size I can tolerate.
Thanks,
Dave

Vaer watches makes a number of field watches. Vaerwatches.com
I particularly love their Dirty Dozen watch.
All are smaller though.
How about the Hamilton Murph at 42mm

Very nice. I like the Vaer's as well, but as you said - on the small end. The Hamilton is nice, similar to the Luminox, and I believe it also can be had in 44mm. Can't find a website for that Radium Instruments, but I have to say they appear to share a lot of DNA with things I've seen around here from @neckyzips over the years...case, hands, crown. Dead ringer. I'd like to find a way to inquire after those.

The Radium Inst. appear to only have a Facebook and instagram with an email to inquire about sales. I really like them the more I look.atkin68 wrote:Very nice.
