Hello
I want to make an panda chrono using Alpha case and Seagull ST19 movement; I have read somewhere that the dials are interchangeable with 7730/7733 and you can use one dial for both movements, except for dial feet.
Can someone confirm this?
Regards
Dan

Re: Are ST19 and 7733 dials interchangeable
St 19 is based on Venus 175 and Valjoux 7733 on Venus 188.
Regarding those two Venuses they are so similar that is not possible to make difference between watches made around one of them.
Even hand holes are identical. Only difference is height
If I had to guess ST 19 and Valjoux dials should have same distance between seconds pinion and minute counter hand pinion.
If there is any difference it might be dial feet.

Bumping this thread to share my experience. 7733 dial has very slightly different location of its dial feet than st19 movement. Just enough that it doesn’t work.
Also, the subdial spacing is ever so slightly different. You can make it work, but only by making the subdial holes in the 7733 dial larger.
It’s definitely not a straight swap. Also movement pushers for st19 cases are much longer than movement pushers on 7733 cases so the movements themselves can not be interchanged between cases either.
Hope this helps.

AFAIK the stem heights are also different between the two!
