Some features:

An amazing never-before-seen early ad discovered by Dr. Chaulmontet that shows the 250 caliber family

The serial number chat is updated, based among other things on the dates we found on some base plates

The first year of production with double -framed logo is determined more precisely

Something exciting is also in there that will come to light very soon hopefully soon

Thanks for the share!
The should have mentioned HF in there and how that helped unknown clocks selling for a hundred dollars to something most wanted and the cannibalization of all their travel clocks

SF 240, 16’’’ eight days power reserve, first versions built since ca. 1936.
- I have seen a couple of movements with a watchmakers mark of 1938. I was wondering how old those movements were
SF-N 9, 9 1⁄4’’’ x 14 1⁄4’’’ (in an Angelus advert from 1935 mentioned as 10 1⁄2’’’ calibre) (21x32mm), ca 1930, small rectangular calibre with eight days power reserve (actually with ten days power reserve).

10 day power reserve!! Moving project up the list.

I am aware of that movement, most of these including the 240 were not meant to be used in wrist watches as you well know,so shape and size was not so limiting for them.I dont know how thick that is but i can only see it in a large square Cartier type style (Santos or Tank) case if it fits !

SF-N9 is 6mm thick. I’m thinking of building a case with hand files and a drill.... yes I’m a sucker for torture
