10 years in the making....

Post by Yoda »

Well, almost 10 years from the day I was "infected", started thinking and gathering parts, to the day I finished my longest build project.

I have enjoyed it for a few months and Monday I was at the gym, locked in clothes, shoes and my personal belongings.

When I came back after an hour and a half, some of the lockers were opened by using force, mine was one of them.

So, I lost my incabloc SF240 WL build. The worst thing is that Sjef made the strap for me a long time ago, an early Southy dial disappeared as well, two very dear items with a history.

My only comfort is that I hadn't completely rebuilt it with NOS parts as planned, it was sort of a test period.

So, back to collecting/sourcing.....

Oh,Michael,so sorry to hear that. That really is a pitty. However,I'm sure you will manage to make a simmilar build as a homage to the lost one and as a tribute to Sjef's legacy.

WHAT...??!!! You gotta be kidding??!

This just breaks my heart. Sometimes life just tries your patience too much :(

I got my laptop stolen last week and was fed up with that, but this (with all the rare parts and the sentimental value)... What’s even worse is that few criminals will appreciate that piece for what it’s worth.

Whatever! Don’t let this break your down M, just take it as the starting point to that super grail coming up!
