You are right of course :(

Sadly, a lot of people got lazy and left the education of their children up to the school and the www/yt/InstaFaceTwit and netflix. And then there's Alexa and the like, which make learning stuff pointless in the kids' minds. I've met 11 year olds who had serious trouble subtracting five from eleven!
