A few wheels and a main plate was "rescued" today, a project in progress.

Michael, I just read about it. I am really sorry, I know the making of your wl as I had being taken part into this, back then.....

Really sad and words are useless. Because of the sentiments and the memories of the parts you had used.... I wish I could help, but I have not parts anymore, my dear friend.... :(

A big step forward today, I have a movement, an old KW SF240 arrived today! Big thanks to a fellow member.

I found a NOS main plate marked 11.56, pure luck! It's the month and year when I was born, I am almost convinced that all this happened for a reason.

Prepared for conversion, this will be converted to incabloc as well, perhaps a Glucydur balance. I need to make an intermediate bridge for the stem and setting parts..

Cut the intermediate brass bridge to size today, I used the thinner KW plate for the measures, I will turn the three pillars to length soon.

I also realized that I need two pins for the setting wheels, what!? Well, it doesn't matter exactly where these two pins are placed, as long as the gears will engage with the hour wheel, so measuring is the key here. Still, I do hope that I will get the opportunity to measure from a gen intermediate bridge.

I know, I get crazy ideas, so I have decided that I will have the intermediate bridge and pillars plated, just because I know they are there and the feeling...I know and that is all that matters.

I will reame the balance cock and main plate to take the incabloc settings as well.

It is going to be a total and crazy conversion, for once.
