Thanks @Yoda , nope for the padding but i sewn very tight to achieve this "pinched" effect and moreover it is 27mm wide so it is a Little squeezed between the lugs !

Hi guys. came into my hands a very nice piece of leather in excellent condition for 80 years. recently completed work on an ammo strap made from WW2 German ammo
