2022 project: my own watch from scratch

Long story short, sometime ago I went back to 3D design and end up with this:

After this I’ve 3D printed, took some measurements, fix the design and print again….

Next step was let’s put some metal here, and so took advantage of 3D printing but in steel.

So for this year I need to finish the case and assemble a watch. Still not sure about the dial and hands. The movement will be Hamilton 917 but the case can also accommodate a 6497/8.

If you are asking about 3D printing in steel, I don’t know how long it takes. Just know that from the order to shipping is around 15 days.

And yes, it’s as bronze + silver finishing, good catch
