So its for under the bezel? And why is it made from solder and not rubber? Is it the traditional way?

ah now I understand - didn´t know what lead means and so my brain skipped it
so, I guess it would also be possible to put a rubber o-ring under the bezel? Good to know as my 3646 tall bezel should arrive this week

lead is a very soft metal using back in the days for sealing even for water pipes.Mike08 wrote:ah now I understand - didn´t know what lead means and so my brain skipped it![]()

you can also use a very thin flat rubber under it , an o-rubber ring wouldnt work out , coz the case has not a nut for the o-ring

in fact, it is possible without gaskets, everything is perfectly done, but if you want everything to be right, then they are needed
