I’ve always wanted an ATP military watch collection. The hands are includedbut in a bag. The strap it’s the original one. The movement doesn’t look to bad.

Sound interesting! Will this build of yours a 1:1 build or a fantasy piece?jrlmsla wrote:Crown for my Zerographe-ish

I like the look of vintage Rolex but not the size. So I’m using a modern case, reshaping it, and making a bezel.
Going for a mix of these two:
I’m using a Cali dial that I think is for an old bubble back. I’ll be adding the chrono scale outside of the railroad track which will work out great since the dial is a tad smaller than the sub dial it is replacing.
Hands from raffles
As far as the -ish part I don’t at this time have any plans for adding the chronograph pusher at 2:00. If I do it will obviously be non-functional. Unless someone has a rarer than hens teeth movement they would like to donate to the cause.
.
Seiko also has the 5719a monopusher chronograph. But I’ve never seen the movement for sale without the watch, and a whole watch is $2000 plus.VanSong wrote:Thanks for sharing this extra informations!jrlmsla wrote:Fantasy.VanSong wrote:Sound interesting! I totally agree on the look & size of the vintage Rlx! The dial choice is good too but thinking what technic will you use to print the scale onto it? Transfer prints?
I have too been doing some thinking on this homage build for awhile too. As for the movement uses, which I think is the closest in function and look. I have conclude the omega/lemania 865 or 920 are the more affordable and accessible one!
Am interested in this Zerographer build too but I am more of a dreamer than a doer on this! LOL.
Hope you'll have fun building this one!
