Re-applying sunburst on a finished coloured dial

I have been trying very hard researching how sunburst dials are made (steps wise), just out of curiosity does anyone one know is it possible to re apply sun burst on a finished coloured dial?

The reason I'm asking this is because Noob daytona has the wrong sunburst on their subdials. Noob's version has the sub dials' sunburst coming from the centre of the watch, while the gen has individual sunburst coming from the centre of each subdials.

I have provided photos to illustrate the difference.

I was thinking that the sunburst was done before coating/painting the dial. May be difficult/impossible to achieve afterwards.

I agree with [mention]Yoda [/mention] to 100%

the sunburst is made from small engraved lines inside the dialplate. to change it, it must be polished,and than engrave a new sunburst as you want it.....so the coating/color will be removed and have to be made new.

Thank you all! So it seems we have to wait for the manufacturers to correct it as redialing it is not really a practical option.
