I realise I didn’t phrase that too well NortON. The strap arrived today from Kostas. The watch head arrived recently as a Christmas present. Fantastic 6152/1 build with an angelus sf240 from RideInStyle via Nightwatch. Looking forward to being able to fit the strap properly and start wearing it.

I haven’t been able fit it properly on the wrist yet as I bent one of the lug bars trying to thread the strap tubes (object lesson in going slow and steady). Hoping @Nightwatch has a replacement. Anyway, a couple of shots...

Try to align the bar, you may not need to order a new one

Very nice. May I ask what movement is beating inside? If it's a 6497 I ask myself how is it possible that the small second is so far from the rim of the case.

Hi insideo, no it is an sf240 movement. I was looking for it to be historically accurate (even though the display back is just for show) 😀

A Seagull ty2555 has a similar spacing between the seconds hand and center CP.
It's smaller too, so you might be able to build a watch with a similar appearance but a different movement for cheap.

I didn’t know that. It’s good to have other options.
