Ya, like any product once sales dwindle they move to models that sell. This is very common with vehicle
models.

A few years back the rep makers completely abandoned B&R due to lack of sales. They just came back to market recently.

I heard rumours DSN worked or had an inside at a watch maker so his parts were made just to his specs and quantities. It does make sense that he would have complete control as you never saw any of his products elsewhere. In China if he was using a rep maker they would have probably screwed him over and made his products avail to everyone. I feel like he may have been employed at a manufacturing facility.

He replied as the production is stalled due to pandemics, so he decided to take a break for a while. He didn't mention he totally quit

Haha, I have a good stash of his EGI's, but he got rid of all his EGI parts years ago. I tried to buy everything he had left, but he was spot out. He really didn't have many parts left over.

What you see pop up on the boards is all that's left.

I do have a couple I may part with but @Aikidosan was one lucky guy who got a case a couple weeks ago. Stay tuned for his build....
I wonder what happens to the manufacture of these just like With TC Dial, Case, insert.....Are these made to the sellers specs and then run out and no longer available or are these parts still being made somewhere. It annoys me no end plenty of people would love to buy DSN watches or even just some of the parts same with TC but once the seller gives up the parts cease to be made even though the market still exists??????? this for me is a big ?????
They focus on a different rep, usually a modern model.

After stopping production of a model, only refurbished watches and spare parts left and then, nada.
We need, these 52 EGIs especially. In fact, we need all his watches. A very similar situation was for Silix. She almost has nothing to supply as for vintage Pams. She offers you something you can find on Aliexpress if you search properly and at a marginally higher price.

Godspeed, DSN.
My first watch was from him. 183H Black Seal. Back in March 2009. Man, if I had known what that thing would lead to ... Saw from our old emails now that the first thing I did after receiving it, was complaining about a bad crown: It had some blue paint on it.
Turned out to be the protective sticker.
Bought a couple of his 6497-made-into-618 a couple of years ago, it is waiting to be cased and dialed, but it will be!
