In fact it was a hell of a crash. You should have seen what was left of what once was a bike :-)
My parents weren't angry because of the watch but happy to see me without injuries.

Sounds bloody stupid now, but my first real watch was a 16613... T'was back in 1990 as far as I remember. Still have it.

That damn thing started it all...

No excuses needed. I have one of those as well, with a blue dial. I get more compliments wearing that watch than with any other. They are fun watches.

I had one of those kiddy flik flak watches in the 90s as my first watch. Really old watch. But still nice memories.
