Was it a real piece of history?
Similar boxes were made for Panerai tools and the patina seems legit. Maybe it is gen (but not intended for watches)

Of course it's not a watch box as stated on the paper plaque! But nice and the strap with the buckle, GREAT!
He told me that the box was withdrawn (not sold) and that he want to post it again next week...
