Hey hey - back after quite long time in the boondocks. I'm recently off a medication that resulted in a hand tremor and made working on watches a pain.
My 2 remaining Homage watches had long since stopped spinning with their asian movements but recently I've been able to get both of them running again and enjoying getting wrist time from the old monsters.
I've got a few small projects lined up. I bought a gen 6497 ETA for the WL and am considering putting some longer hands on it.
I'd like to fit a black RP dial to the 6154.
I bought new hands/dial for the 5517. Then the rotor fell off the 2824 so I'm considering buying a gen eta from the same source I got the 6497 from
I have some really nice leather and may knock out a couple more straps as I held onto several of Elias's wonderful buckles.
I also bought a Christopher Ward Vintage GMT65 blue dial around a year ago. Fantastic daily wear watch except for some reason they decided not to give it a screw down crown so it has been back twice to deal with condensation issues - nothing's perfect eh?
That's about it I see there are still a lot of familiar names here and I hope you're all keeping well in these rather strange times.
Best
Z
