How to recharge a Kinetic watch

I know we all love the mechanical watches but sometimes we travel for the dark side, aka, quartz world.

But for not deep to dive into that quartz world I stopped at the automatic quartz

Got this one this week Seiko AGS now under the brand Seiko Kinetic.




The watch almost didn’t have wear marks and the seller told me that never replaced the capacitor.

After walking with the watch I got him running it last 12h after a day wearing him.

Start thinking about how to charge it. It looks that we can charge him with a wireless charger. Yes the physicist principal it’s the same.

And here it is charging in my toothbrush charging station



Guess what, it worked!!!

If you ever need to charge your Seiko Kinetic just use a toothbrush charger or similar.

hmmm.................i have a Ralf Tech WRX watch that comes with a E-Matic movement, it is the same as a Seiko Kinetic movement, having a rotor that recharges a battery that powered an quartz movement.

interesting about the toothbrush charger. any other charger that will work? wireless phone charger???

Probably it can work with others. The toothbrush isn’t to powerful.
