damn ... sorry to hear M ... I've been on there for 20 years! ... I have sold everything from used shoes... to Johnny Walker Green Label (20 years ago, when it was single malt, and only available at Duty Free stores in USA) .. I bought on cruise ship! Bought couple bottles for $25 per bottle on cruise ship, sold 1 bottle to a guy in Hawaii for $50.

They have sucked in the past years cause they side with the buyer ... and sometimes you have those scum bag buyers that open up cases.

I don't get that policy, really... So the buyers... I sold a pocket watch 3 days ago, buyer sent best offer, has 100 % positive feedback... Now he doesn't respond, no mails, no payment... Now, I have to raise UPI case and be a jerk, right?
Simply, if you send a best offer, then don't fuck the seller... I still want to think he's too busy to respond...

I have given up selling on EBay.
The commission alone is 11 % when using PP.

actually it gets to 13% when you factor in PayPal fee ... I limit what I sell on there. If it's a pain to ship, heavy and not going to get a certain amount in return ... I just donate it.

Sad that it's got to the point ... I use to be able to put more money in my pocket.

Sounds so true, donating is a better choice! Hidden fees does apply!

I have some expensive camera lenses I was thinking of selling this year. Look like I might have to rethink using Ebay. I didn't know it had gotten so bad for sellers.

From Hong Kong eBay, they removed English ))) on App i can see in English, but often they ask you to use browser and when they send you to the browser, everything gets in traditional Chinese, you need to use google translate... all emails they send you also in Chinese... Hong Kong is multi language city, even many Chinese cannot read no Traditional no simplified Chinese

about charges. when i buy I also pay around 6 percent to PayPal
