Purchased it from eBay.
Received, take it apart, cleaned... It is 100% genuine... But... Why 616?

Even more puzzling is the engraving in the upper left corner stating that it won an award at the World Exposition of 1878...
It is a regular engravings. Many different movements have something like that. It is not related to movement itself, it is about company.hako wrote:Even more puzzling is the engraving in the upper left corner stating that it won an award at the World Exposition of 1878...
I have a couple of 616 movements with the same Paris Expositions engravings on a barrel bridge. But they have classic bridges, not like 618. I guess it’s gem. Congrats!Kp0y wrote:Thoughts?
this movement disappeared from eBay auction day before it should finish some how )) super rare chance to see in real how original 618 looks inside )) would be interesting to see how the bridges look from back side )) this is amazingly rare movement, congrats!!!
You can find that kind of 616 in Favre-Leuba watches.
