This is how it begins, learning by doing! I did that and I feel much better having done it the old school way. Please be kind to him when he is having nightmares because of an issue! LOL! Tell him that you will sit together the next time and he will love you forever!
Yes, he is only 10 years old, a plenty of time to learn in forward.. Now he is just making me a company in a workshopImage

Yes and its cold outside so we stay inside and work! Just kidding !
Sweeden has good machinery tools still made today if i remember.
Quite Europe somewhere in the Center is probably an ideal location to have access to most things.
But then again you can outsource some parts.
