My watch repair skills are limited. One of them is the ability to refinish stainless steel watch cases. That and the fact that I just like how stainless looks is why I tend to avoid even coated stainless.

The case back ruins it for me the case looks good. How long do you have it ?
It's been 2 years now. The only thing I have observed is that when you swim with this on a pool with chlorine or salt, you get white deposits on the surface (but it can be cleaned afterwards).

Maybe a stock caseback from the other reps/homages might fit.

If you need the diameter of the thread, let me know.
Hi E, this case is waterproof you said? Did you modded/added the gaskets yourself or it is already supplied ready by River?

Usally the coated surfaces are done in the factories, polishing an be done at home with Dremel tools and the rest.
But specialized coating is not for hobbyist i think to be done at home even though some have done it after building a small lab,
which after a point defeats the idea of a hobby. So yes i only polish steel as well!

PS I like the cat in your avatar!

At least we know its pool tested !!
Obviously he must used a proper gasket at the crown,if there is no pressure at the watch (small depths) the crown is usually the watches weakest point.

Definitely a plus with waterproof! Even if it is just for bathing ImageImage.
