This might be an old discussion that I missed. I found this on another forum. Sadly it has been confirmed to be an issue with more than 1 watch.

Honestly if this was “Made in China” , it would be a $200 watch. Totally unacceptable to me. It’s worth watching for educational purposes.

I have always suspected that as a possibility, honestly but unless there is proof.....

If that were true, it would not be the first time a watch producer tries to pull a fast one on the consumer. Where there is money to be made....

If I would be the owner of this watch, it would be an all out against the producer.
It’s appalling to see how the Seiko movement has been stuffed into the Miyota-intended case and then even sold

And they are not ashamed to ask €762,50 for this mess...

Indeed, the video could have been shorter. I guess the right words did not come to his mind because he was so shocked by his findings :-)
In his answers in the comments to his video he is much more to the point.

I do not think that he is THE Dagaz. No logo and no hint to his merchandise.

Yoda wrote: February 27th, 2020, 11:56 am He talks a lot. That said, this is just not worth anything, no QC and so badly executed. Dagaz is being mentioned, is that the Dagaz we know?

I think it actually is.... there was some mention of an ulterior motive. But others are opening in their watches and same issue inside. A cheap 3 cent spacer to hold the seiko spacer in place.

Some are complaining of their posts being deleted on their(?) forum and emails being ignored when they ask about the spacer.

21,800 bph

I suspect that if it were a $200 watch from China, it would have a correct movement holder.

This is like a rep watch merry-go-round.... we will sell you v2. With the right engravings and a better spacer.
