Digging in the past, there is a guy from Erfurt who was one of the first Vintage Builders and had several gen vintage Panerai Parts...

I think that it's because of the good condition, wide CdG pattern and incabloc. And of course that it says SF240.

I have heard of a buyer who bought a movement for $2250....
