It all went very well, I expected him to be surprised - really surprised, but he opened the box and turned away, crying. It was a long time wish, but he didn't want to bother me with a task like this, so I guess it was a success. I really digged his reaction, it was a summary of our 33 years of friendship.
He cried and made me cry.

Moments like this are what this hobby is all about,not about making or customizing watches/clocks per se,but about moments of hapiness and satisfaction we share in the process.

Oh, I once received a dial for the mini egi from Athaya but the subdial alignment was off.
Have you checked the clearance?

grrrrrrrrrrr not yet, I was confident regarding the first experience...I'm going to check


I have a doubt...not sure but the second pin seems to touch the edge of the second hole when the hour/min pin seems centered. I will try to assemble it on tomorrow...
