What is the justification for these prices

I don’t see any justification in this prices. I think the movements are standard eta 6497 and the case is nothing special too.there must be people out there paying this money for this watches but honestly I wouldn’t pay it.

This is a build that can be bought from River or Davidsen for maybe $300 - $400 !!!

I think it's just an Ebay seller trying out their luck :? I think that listing will be sitting around for a very very long time.

I would like to know that too. Because the last two times with the same watch and same seller, I was the highest bidder untill the seller decided the price wan't high enough and overbid me through a proxy account, then offered to sell it for 500eur via pm. This time, the price achieved is around 100eur higher, so he may have let it go.

Too large a movement for a build, but a beautiful pocket watch in its own right. Never seen a Cal 330 movement; anyone know what is different from the usual Cal 540 in these?

It is a 540 or 548. 330 doesn’t exist. That stamp not always indicate a calibre.
