Brilliant. Acc to my mate the doc we are all living a lot longer, so diseases (primarily heart disease) that nailed us are no longer doing so.

I hope he'll be fine and get well ASAP.
Of death and disease, the issue has been made rather a cost-benefit analysis that some profane dishonest and greedy living organisms that call themselves human beings abuse to hoard an excessive amount of wealth.
I know it's hard to admit but the death is for all living things, and it's very natural. What makes it hard for us to accept is the importance that we attribute to it as human beings in these modern times. What makes it unbearable for us is the fact that we've had deaths of war, from epidemics and all sorts of pains in the last couple of centuries mostly for no reasons (let's say for the joy and pleasure of some half wit ruler) and those memories are still too fresh.
A mate said it's mostly due to our life styles. Modern world has been designed in such a sophisticated way that, the food we're having is almost of no use but catered or prepared to keep us alive for a while and to give us energy to do routine bits of mechanical organised processes but not to make us think and question, and preferably to make us sick so that some tyrans of the pharmaceutical industry get richer. I've heard stories of rice made with plastics, of cakes into which recycled rubber based materials are stuffed so that it makes one feel full. Such stories are plenty.
Medical procedures have turned into highly paid money making businesses (how much would you be willing to pay for a simple operation like a subcutaneous implantation? Would 250 grand be enough while the little capsule costs only a couple of hundreds or thousands of dollars? Why would a cancer operation cost millions of dollars in some parts of the world while it's free and achieve better results in some others?). The systems exploit our helplessness and despair and our naive and infinite love for our relatives and loved ones.
One may and should ask so many such questions most of which I'm sure will be unanswered. I haven't found any thus far.

Cancer feasts on sugar...thelonedoc wrote: ↑June 28th, 2019, 10:10 am So sorry M...
You seen to be facing this type of thing every other week, I can only imagine how difficult this must be. My prayers are with you and your friend.
Cancer is such a horrible reality and while I think lifestyle can play a role in it, I dont think it is the primary contributing factor.
Cancer from what I understand is a natural occurance, and usually the body can deal with it. Sometimes it doesn't work out and it ends up flourishing and taking over.
I beleive that the foods that we have been conditioned to eat, the trace adulterants resulting from food production, as well as other environmental factors that we are bombarded with have caused this epidemic.
If our system is thrown out of balance and pumped full of substances that promote cancer, then we cant fight it naturally.
Genetics are also a big factor, some people seem to have the ability to fight it off better than others.
I truly beleive that the excessive sugars and carbs in the modern diet, pesticides and other chemicals found in processed foods, pollution, wifi, bluetooth, cell phone signals etc all work against us...
Now they want to push 5g... From what I have been hearing a lot of scientists are extremely concerned about it.
I did some reading about one particular diet called "gaps" that may be of interest to anyone wanting to detox or heal. It was designed to treat people with celiac disease, but the protocol actually seems to promote overall healing of the body and mind. It has been shown to even help people suffering from neurological conditions that have otherwise had no luck. The health of our bodies gut bacteria has been linked to various different aspects of our overall health. Eating sugars and carbs actually promote types of bacteria to flourish that release toxins into our systems that cause major inflammation response.
I tried this diet for 3 months by recommendation due to chronic pain from a crushed vertabrae in my back. I lost weight, felt amazing and had absolutely no pain. I fell off the wagon due to the chaos of life, but I experience a tangible benefit from this diet.
I reccomend it to everyone now. Maybe it can be of some use.

Re: What is going on?
I am not going to give in to any of this shit, be so very fucking well aware of that!
I know that we live longer and that it may be part of the explanation. I have been exposed to all kinds of weird stuff, including too much sun, also smoked, been drinking, sugar in my coffee, weed in the 70s, the list goes on.
Still, I believe in balance. Some of us have a body that can do this on its own, I like to think that mine can/could - perhaps it has had enough?

Re: What is going on?
Yup...
Sugar, acidic environment, inflammation...
All bad things.
I have also heard read the baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) has cancer fighting properties.
If you look at old US military documents from the cold war era. They talk about procedures to mitigate the harm done as a result of a nuclear blast. They mention the ingestion of sodium bicarbonate as a preventative measure.
I heard from a coworker that fought off cancer that if you mix some type of sugar with sodium bicarbonate in water and consume it, that it helps to fight cancer. The cancer wants to consume the sugar and by doing so takes in the sodium bicarb. I don't fully understand how the digestive system breaks down what you ingest and if this has any possibility of actually functioning this way, but he swore by it. He also told me that he had heard of instances where a sodium bicarbonate solution was injected directly into tumors and had positive effects.
I have also heard that consuming large quantities of vegetable juice is helpful. Loading up on micro nutrients cant hurt.
All of this is anecdotal of course, but eliminating know harmful substances is the best first step.
I personally dont know how I feel about the mainstream medicine approach...
Bombard a person with radiation to the point that it kills the cancer and hope that it doesnt kill the patient. Seems pretty crude... A fine line between success and failure that has a lot of potential to create additional health problems to the person even if they survive.
Not to mention the fact that if they fail, they have made the patient's final days even more agonizing...
We live in a mad world...

I think you are one of the people who can naturally defeat this horrible disease. Whether through genetics or by sheer will.
Never underestimate the power of a persons stength of will.

This started out as a story about a close friend and suddenly I am involved, it was not what I was looking for from the beginning. Still, this will affect us all in some way.

Re: What is going on?
Sorry to hear the news. Is a far too common occurrence for all of us as we advance through life. I emphatically agree with many of the diet and lifestyle comments here, but perhaps that’s for another day.
Wishing your friend positive vibes for recovery.
