A better way to find Chinese homages

Post by r4zv »

Hello!

I got frustrated with the lack of filters for rating and case diameter (I have thin wrists and most Chinese watches are huge) on Aliexpress, so I built this simple search tool:
https://www.homagefinder.com/search.php

I also keep a track of homages, and this is my database so far:
https://www.homagefinder.com/listallhomages.php
There's a form you can use to suggest which watch a certain watch homages. That way, it will be easier to find it later on, and you'd also be helping other people.

Please let me know if you find my site useful and if there are any features you'd like to see on it.

Good job bro! So basically you are crawling aliexpress, since I see many search options there?

Thanks!

Yeah, I am, basically, but I'm offering a lot of search filters they don't and the (original watch - homage watch) database.

Great work, must say once again !
Don't get me wrong with my previous post... Term "basically" is so common to me and I use it very often.. You know, after 20+ yrs of programming and working with electronic engineers... So when "we" say "basically", we are trying to divide one big project in smaller - basic entities... So people will accept task easierImage

Thanks, guys! :)

I implemented something called "lazy loading" of the images, so the site should be a lot snappier.
I'll be back with more interesting upgrades soon.
