Question on 6152-1 build ( Ali case, River dial)

Hi, I am a newbie trying to figure out a 6152-1 CG build. The parts are on its way and I wanted to ask if anyone have any suggestions on which parts I would need to complete my build? I've read some posts on the crown not being able to fit due to the thickness of the dial, But I am not sure yet as my parts are in transit. Anyone with experience with the case/ dial or suggestions would be greatly admired!

Here are my build specs (currently)

Case: Ali 6152-1 CG case
Dial: River 0.8mm
Hands: River thin pencil
MVMT: Unitas 6498


I plan to get a better case in the future, but I am trying with the Ali case for now until the near future.
I also plan to reshape the case and age the parts as well since I am an experienced modder for vintage Grand Seikos and King Seiko's. Just new to the Homage PAM world!

6498 will need secs pin trimmed if using river base dial… may be easier to do 6494?

Which dial are you using?

I’m using a river 0.8mm LP dial (X second hands). I will have to cut off the second hands pin or replace the with a no seconds wheel. Wish me luck!

You have to know that the dial feet won’t fit on the 6498.

On the left 6497 - on the right 6498.
Either you have to cut the feet and clue the dial on the movement or you have to glue new feet.
