On thread EBAY auctions, there appeared a link for disassembled 00140 golden PAM. it was not cheap, but usually one batch is 200 pieces, so I decided to build nice Top tuning piece. As the whole watch go up to 25k usd. in over polished condition is 15k. I bargain a bit and took the movement with dial. the pictures were not clear so there were a risk. Anyway the price was ok for only dial and movement set. I started to look for 4A rep of any old PAM with automatic 7750 with the lens on the glass. bought through local reseller. Still a lot work need to be done. reduced the gap between CG and lever. retouched the surfaces. Adding the washer between the dial and bezel. made the new sit for movement and 3 slots for holding screws. the crown was over polished for my taste, so I made it more sharp. as the movement is nicely decorated, I will make display case back with same engravings as on 180, but with decoration.
