Now it looks like a Kitchen worktop counter .What are you trying to achieve ? ,for me the simpleness of the dial is its beauty .But each to their own ,if you like it go for it .Jeff

I had this dial left and I tried (with different colors) to reach a similar result for a new project like this.

Masterpieces are born in experiments. thank you for sharing! Sometimes I think I destroyed my part, but later I was managed to pull it to "ok" state, as I treasure my "wasted " )) time, now I try not to through things away, for some flowes. And if someone will ask, how I achieved this results I will reply it was absolutely chaotic accident

I see what you mean.
IMO, since tropical dials are the result of moisture under the clear coat,
maybe you should try a "wet" process, so as the color blend and "stains" develop in an "organic" shape.
Easier to say than to do
I would start by aging the whole dial surface, yours look too brand new IMHO.

Little wrong and not accurate application of forth and I need to buy one more movement for parts solved... oh this crazy tolerances, how they was able to do at that time long ago...

as the split second chronograph takes amazing volume of fun, would like to dissolve it with LP a240 after vintage Chrono a240 looks a piece of cake . not putting aside anything, just two projects parallel
