I did used my old case that sit in my drawer for long time ago to modified for this case. This old case I did make it to fit automatic Eta2842 movement.
1. Mid case Make the center hole is bigger to except new 39mm dial. And enough space to fit new movement 36.8 ×6.7mm . I also did the 3mm thick adapter to make midcase thicker because, old case is 4.7 mm
thick. And new hole to except M2 screw (10mm long )Make new hole for the Lug bar that except 27mm spring bar is more flexible than M2 screw in.
Make new CG 8mm. And cover new crown with bronze for12mm. So the case is will be wider 52+10=62mm.
2. NewCB with engraved 7 mm thick . 3 mm. Depth to except new dome plexiglass
3. New bezel that from my last project 13mm.thick make the pattern for it.
So that 's it the result
Case 52mm with CG and crown is 62mm
Lug/Lug is 63mm.
Lug straps 27mm
From top to bottom 34mm
Gen. Angelus hand.

One thing I love about this forum is that people here are open to all sorts of interesting and unique builds. I’ve spent time on other forums where people will criticize something as basic as an aftermarket strap, and if you post a pic of a frankenwatch they lose their minds. They should remember that the real monster in Frankenstein was the angry mob of villagers.Rainy (Bonny B) wrote: ↑January 29th, 2025, 12:43 am

That’s a really cool and unique build you’ve made. The patina on the movement keeps it faithful to its individual lived history, and the colors and details of it are really well done. I’ve never seen an Angelus with a red dial, looks excellent! I hope my Angelus 240 project turns out half as cool as yours.

Thanks. For your generous comments. For the movement I got it just like that color. Made the feeling faithful like you said. Dial is red from IMHO is make the watches more modern because, the movement is vintage. I don't want a pure vintage watches. The result came out quite satisfied only thing annoying me is the movement is still not settle yet. On and off .Hopefully is done soon . Thanks again for your generous comments.Hypnogagia wrote: ↑February 3rd, 2025, 10:28 pmOne thing I love about this forum is that people here are open to all sorts of interesting and unique builds.
