Cortebert - One of the last off the Swiss production line with a pallet cock rather than pallet bridge.

Saljut - 8254th off the Russian production line. 1st quarter 1947.

It’s sad that this Salut has a wrong balance bridge. Those early Molnijas from 1947 had an oval hair-spring stud instead of round one, exactly the same as 616/618 cortebert.

The one on the photo is a little earlier than mine. Perhaps they changed the design early on? My 48,56,66 share the same stud configuration. I’m struggling to find another example with the oval stud - but I want one
