A CYMA UK Military pocket watch from WW2!

Inside it should be a CYMA 775 movement

G.S.T.P. - (General Service Trade Pattern)
These watches were issued by the Ministry of Defence in the Second World War. They have the serviceman’s number to whom the watch was issued and the broad arrow means Crown Property.

Now I’m thinking whether there is a 616 based chronograph movement, at lease there was a soviet chronograph movement that is based on 3601.

Now this one I do plan to build into a 3646 or 6154, should be very interesting.

Last week it finally arrived: The Hamilton 917. It had been a veritable odyssey.

I sent it to @Yoda in early December. Sometime in the beginning of the new year he got in touch to let me know that the shipment hadn't arrived yet. The forwarding order showed that it had landed in Japan instead of Sweden. The ways of the Lord...

But miracles still happen! After I placed a search request, in mid-February it finally arrived at Yoda.

And now, at the end of June, it is repaired, cleaned and well adjusted back in my hands. Unbelievable!

Thank you Yoda

It arrived so the waiting is already forgotten. No need to worry. Be well, too, Michael.
