Seiko 7005-8030 MACV-SOG ... early 70ies
I've the opportunity to get this ... in pretty bad condition but pretty cheap too ...
- Case and caseback were beated but some elbow grease did the job
- Plexi was cracked but I found one that fit
- 7005A was really reluctant to come back to life but since yesterday evening it's ticking and keeping good time
- Dial was too far damaged ... bombs and napalm you know ... so I had to reprint it
I still have to put everything in the case, grease the gasket and O-Ring, close, put a strap and enjoy ...
I may age the dial later as it looks a bit too new now
