I inherited an Angelus Junior alarm clock from 1950 from my father.

If I share some photos with you, would you be able to tell me if it's worth making a wristwatch out of it?

Or should I keep it as is?

It would be a shame to alter something that has real historical value.

For this reason, I really need your expert opinion. What direction would you recommend, or should I make a tribute wristwatch?

Because from the research I've done, I understand that Panerai used this movement in several of its models.

How much would it cost me to make all these modifications, or would it be more worthwhile to perhaps sell it in its current condition?

Yes, I know absolutely nothing about this.

That's why I wanted to get some information about this clock.

And I was misled by (chatgpt) the artificial intelligence which suggested it was an SF 240.

So I deleted the listing on Chrono24, since the description and specifications are incorrect.

Can you help me or give me more information about this clock? For example, what movement does it use? Is it worth anything?

However, I tested the power reserve; it easily lasts eight days, the timekeeping is very accurate, and the alarm is very loud.

Is there a tutorial that would allow me to open the back to see the movement?

Keep it as a clock ,converting it from a back key wind to a crown wind is very complicated and expensive with special skill needed 'I am sure other members with more experience will chime in . Your better off finding a movement more suitable with a crown wind that has been overhauled, it will save you money .

So you're suggesting I keep the clock as it is?

From what I've noticed, the clock works perfectly; it really does have an eight-day power reserve, maybe even more, and the alarm is very loud.

If I can't make it into a wristwatch, I think the best thing would be to sell it as is.

But what's it worth?

And what type of movement is inside? I tried to remove the bell on the back, but not wanting to damage the watch, I couldn't go any further.

I can remove the screws on top, even just the green one in front, and I can access the dial. Nothing that would allow me to remove the bell on the back.

keep it as a memory, it isn’t much worth.I saw 2 on ebay for under $100. search for angelus junior
