Tropicalizing new dials "sauce"?

Hi there,
Wow the forum got an overhaul! Looks great!
Well I know Perezcope isn't this forum's best friends, but I like to read his articles sometimes.
While doing so it appears that the auction houses often sell watches with fake tropical patina, Jose pointed out a few times that there is some kind of liquid used, as there were some traces of it found on parts of the dial that weren't supposed to be touched by it.
Now the 1 million dollar question is, what are they using??
