I can feel the itch coming back

Given my project the last couple of years I think its clear that I love vintage PAMs.

After the creation of mille metri though my desire for a more contemporary divers watch has been growing.
Unfortunately the last 3 years were... tricky and I had many projects postponed. Thankfully now I am starting to have a little more free time and the itch to create something is coming back.
As a result I have been working on some of my designs from the last couple of years for a diver watch, I do really want to make a watch for myself that will be something unique that I created from scratch. Ive designed and 3d printed some mock-ups to see how they look on my wrist and all of them are promising. Probably in the near future ill make a thread to document the process of the creation of my new daily watch.

Just looking for some feedback of what you guys think!

My first choice is a midcase that is based on the mille shape.

and the goal is to make it look something like this, with a DLC case and an ageing bronze bezel/crown

the second option is based on the shape of the lugs of egi

and again, bronze bezel/crown and Titanium Polished midcase?

The final option and the one I kinda tend to is this, based on a classic skin diver design

And DLC midcase bronze details or polished Titanium are my options

Sorry for the crappy low quality on the renderings. Solidworks was acting up when I was trying to do some proper 3d rendering

So what do you guys think? :D

My 8 days concord needs a case like this ! I dig the bezel especially. I may have missed it but what’s the size?

Wow, impressive!

I'll give you my ideas, don't take them as criticizing.

My fav out of the three is second case as it looks to be the more balanced one imho.

First case is very good, midcase is great, but I am not sure about the triangular holes in the lugs, I feel they are too much. Besides bezel needs some fine tuning seeing from the render imho.

Third case is also great, I really like the lugs and the rounded belly, but I would balance the design with a sharper bezel.

Regarding materials, titanium is the right choice imho but I would stick to polished/brushed contrast. Assuming this is going to be a big watch it would help keep it less "loud".

I hope what I wrote makes sense, not easy to express with few words :)

all of them are between 47-49mm but since its something made from scratch they can be scaled up or down, sky is the limit.
for my 8.2" (gorilla) wrist/taste these sizes are optimal

The 2nd does look most appealing to me. As the lugs & bezel are thick and tall, It had a muscling look which a diver watch should be IMHO.

The 3rd wasn't bad also! The slim case & lugs with that silhouette has it allure. It also have the vintage diver case look.

Hope this help V.

thanks for the comments guys, I corrected a double picture on the 2nd design so you can see a profile pic on wrist. At a design level I made another version of that same one with the midcase being ~2mm thinner.

What I intend for this is to have a solid fixed to the case caseback and Im working on a concept where the movement will be front loaded and the crown detached from the front. Still working on how this can be achieved though.

Another prototype down the line is this one, but its on the dressier side. 46mm less than 5.5mm thick minus the crystal
