Hello all, friends! I'd like to meet you. My name is Konstantin.
I'm on the forum since january 2022. And i really like that the forum is very active, and users share their assembly achievements, new historical facts.
In 2015 I got a hobby. making handmade leather accessories. wallet, cardholder, and other things.
Later I switched to making classic style watch straps for all models (beautiful but boring).
When I first came across brutal watch straps made of ammunition, and other leather that looked very strange to me at first glance, and a little intimidating with their untidy appearance , crooked seams, chunky strap ends.
Some time later in 2018.I was asked to make a strap like this. brutal, shabby, with crooked seams. The customer briefly explained to me what was what, and what the story behind this watch was. So I decided to find out a little more about Panerai.
And I just disappeared... wallets, covers, and other classic straps moved far away from me.
I found something that really pulled me in.
It's 2022 today. and to this day I'm all. still searching for information on the tailoring of straps from those years, who made them and how. why exactly the short part was made in three folds, and many other questions.
I am looking forward to getting to know you. Konstantin
