Luck with Getat has run out

Hey guys, I guess it was only a matter of time this would happen to me. I’ve bought from our friend Getat for over 8 years and never once had an incident. Made the order, paid the invoice, got the stuff and always friendly communication.

Well, made an order just over a month ago, received the invoice, paid it, got the tracking a few days later. Smooth as butter, or so I thought. Given its been three weeks since I got the tracking and still no watch I figured I’d check on that tracking to see where my cases were at. Turns out he still hasn’t mailed them, he just printed the labels. So, I’ve emailed him twice now and not heard back.

So, I’m wondering, start a PayPal dispute now, or wait it out a little longer? Feeling a bit sad about this because I honestly felt a little charmed when it came to Getat, and now I’m thinking it was just plain dumb luck this whole time.

Would appreciate thoughts from the community!

Send him an email about PayPal case, usually it helps,.
I had same issue twice and that helps, he answered quickly.
Ask him also to check all because for one of my order of 8 cases he messed up all :) wrong case, wrong casebacks...:)
Bad communication and slow shipping makes me to step out from his services.
Maybe later he will change something, but year after year it's getting only worse.

Thanks for the advice brother. I just emailed him again saying if the items are not dispatched in the next 24 hours I will open a dispute.

So annoying.

I think you had a lot of luck all those years. So there's that :) What you're describng this time is more like what I am used to hearing about Getat. Good luck.

Thanks man, I really thought he had a soft spot for me... the guy even sent me a set of replacement crownguard screws free of charge a few years back. Here I was, thinking I was the getat whisperer lol

If he does ship your stuff, I hope he ships mine as well in the same trip. I ordered around early October, got no response until Oct 28 when he send me the invoice which I paid on the same day. And got the shipping label on Nov 8. Since then it hasn't changed status.
But I'm no stranger to Getat shipping. The first order took me about 3 months to arrive, the second time was blazing fast I got it in 3 weeks time. I guess won't be lucky this time.

Keep the cool and wait, Tat usually comes back and many things have changed during the pandemic.

In my case he stopped answering and I had to open a dispute
I returned the money but Mr. Getat never replied...
