SF240

I once learned that there were four different types of the SF240 movement, but I think that I have found number five...apart from the ones from P******I.
The movement I am thinking about is a 1930s KW SF240 with narrow CdG and glucydur balance assembly....it has been in my cabinet for years and I once planned to create a KW wristwatch with the movement.
As far as I know the glucydur wasn't introduced until the MAI./JUIN. 61 movement.
I think that it made a crack in my world...

Not trying to diminish your discovery or anything but is it not conceivable that someone replaced the balance wheel a long time ago thus creating what you have?

I meant as in a question, as in would the movement run correctly? I suppose if the weight of the glycydur is the same as the other kind then it should.

It's pretty disturbing, it runs several days longer than a gen I have here....
It runs perfectly for 11 days.

Interesting. And it keeps correct time? Maybe it has a longer main spring to boot? Then it is really unique.

Standard mainspring, serviced by me a couple of years ago.

I was most likely lucky.
