A friend of mine came by to visit me today, after a while he asked if I could service his watch sometime after New Year.

It is the 2005 model with the SF240 movement without the extra jewels, I am not aware of the model number.
I wonder why they stopped adding the extra jewels, unless it was a business decision.
I thought about it for a while and my private opinion would be to add cap jewels to the escape wheel and the pallet arbor assembly and not the fat wheel closest to the barrel, because it turns so slowly that I can't see the benefit from doing that.

Thoughts?

I wouldn’t change any parts that could not be put back together at a later date.

Those watches are listed for sale for $50,000 plus. I do not think you want to risk hurting the value. I even if you are technically improving the movement.

Its odd the jewels arent there- any photos?

It's have some different part (any wheel) from Angelus 240 clock ?

Of course not, I would only do that to a movement of my own, not a customer's.

They are advertised as 15 jewels.

All standard parts are Angelus, only the seconds wheel with the long pin and perhaps the modified barrel bridge are new.
