For once I am completely lost regarding a mainspring for a 1930s Jaeger LeCoultre 8 day travel clock.

I have looked and asked in many places and they all said no.

The mainspring measures as follows:

Width 2,55
Strength 0,14
Length 680
Barrel diameter 18,5

The old blue steel was 0,15, that's why I wanted to go down one strength when replacing it with an alloy mainspring.

Length is not critical, 650 or 720 would work nicely.

Cousins has 2.55 x .15 x 730 x 18 Non-Automatic (part # 2551573018) - maybe that would work?

It worked nicely all the way down to the payment method, which I don't have at the moment, so I will have to look into that.

Do you have nay pic of the movement of the type, i have an old JLC 8 day travel clock (not working) that i can send you for parts if you like .It propably needs a good service but had completely forgotten about it .also lack of known local clock repairmen.
